We are looking for an enthusiastic and visionary teacher who is self-motivated and innovative in their approach to teaching.

Irongate Kindergarten is part of the Heretaunga Kindergarten Association.  Our Association is committed to:

 The successful candidate will:

  • Have a philosophy that fits with the team and Kindergarten.
  • Be energetic and open to learning, with a ‘can-do’ attitude.
  • Be a team player who works collaboratively but is also able to work independently.
  • Have a passion in supporting tamariki learning.
  • Be current with regard to Early Childhood Education theory and practice.
  • Have a working knowledge of Te Whāriki.
  • Be confident in using technology.

All applicants must hold a current practising certificate (full or provisional), a recognised ECE qualification, current first aid certificate and have a covid vaccine pass.  This position may be suitable for an early career or new graduate.
