We are looking for a warm, passionate and experienced teacher to join our team from term 1, starting immediately.

We are a small Steiner centre in Lower Hutt offering morning and full day sessions (8am–4pm) for children aged 2 to 5 years. We have a strong focus on providing a nurturing, peaceful and home-like environment where children are empowered to naturally develop through warm and respectful teacher-child relationships and creative play and learning.  

We are seeking someone with:

• A level 7 early childhood qualification and current practicing certificate
• Commitment to providing high quality early childhood care and education
• Strong knowledge of Te Whāriki, planning and assessment, internal evaluation and Early Childhood regulations
• Knowledge of Steiner education and the Pikler/RIE approach is desirable but not essential if you are keen to learn.
