An opportunity has arisen in our Y7–13 kura for a motivated and qualified assistant head of learning area mathematics teacher.
The successful applicant should have a background in the mathematics and statistics curriculum and preferably experience in teaching in the senior school. The appointee will be a motivated teacher willing to collaborate with other teachers across curriculum areas to increase students' numeracy in our school.
A commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi, culturally responsive practice, and te Ao Māori is vital. We are looking for a teacher who is keen on developing curriculum with local and relevant content while integrating student interest, embracing cross curricular teaching and effective use of digital technology within the curriculum.
This position comes with 1 permanent management unit.
There is the potential to take classes from Y7–13, so please indicate in your application your preference.
