Early learning kaiako

W.E.L.C are looking for soon-to-be qualified or qualified kaiako to become new members of our centre whānau. This is an exciting opportunity to join a down-to-earth, family orientated whānau who believe relationships are the foundation for learning and aspire to co-construct our curriculum with the tamariki while ensuring it's enriched with aroha, planned and spontaneous real-life experiences, teachable moments and exploration.

• An excellent package is available for the ideal candidate including excellent provisions for non-contact , mentoring and professional learning and development opportunities
• A variety of shifts available between 7am–5.30pm
• Days and times of work negotiable , including the opportunity to accommodate school hours. 

It's important to us that our kaiako have a love for respectful practices, a good knowledge and passion for extending the learning of our tamariki. Respectful relationships are at the core of what we do, so we need a teacher who can develop strong connections between tamariki, whānau and our existing kaiako and ensure everyone who enters our premises feels safe, secure and valued.
