Kindergarten teacher

Teacher (LTR, full-time 1.00 FTE 40 hours per week)

Are you passionate about developing meaningful relationships with tamariki and whānau, by respecting their aspirations for their tamaiti and dedicated in making a difference in our local community? The ability to establish and foster genuine and meaningful relationships with local hapū and iwi and confident in the use of te reo and tikanga Māori is essential.

About the role

• At Frankleigh Park Kindergarten you would be part of a team of 4 teachers, plus support staff, to provide a high quality programme for 40 tamariki
• We are working towards sustainability for education embedding the Enviroschools principles
• We have strong whanaungatanga relationships with whanau, tamaiti and the wider community
• Maternity leave position for 12 months effective from 5 May 2022 and it is a condition of the relieving appointment that it will be terminated by the employer concerned within one month from the date that the permanent incumbent is to return to work.
