Infant teacher

Nature Kids is a private, family-owned centre in a purpose-built facility. We have 3 separate developmentally appropriate areas for infants, toddlers, and young children. We have a large outdoor environment which has been carefully prepared to provide opportunities for children to be physically active and environmentally aware. We have lots of big fruit trees, real grass and a bike track around the playground. 

We have a fantastic team of teachers and our own relieving pool. We have 2 teachers over required ratio, and meet requirements for 100% qualified funding. We have opted in to pay parity.

We are looking for a dedicated teacher to work with our infants. Our infant room has 3 teachers and 12 infants each day.

Applicants must have:

• A recognised ECE Diploma or Degree, as well as provisional / full registration 
• The ability to work well in a team and with a wide range of people
• The ability to identify children’s unique strengths and interests
• Sound knowledge of ECE legislation, standards, policies and procedures that impact on the centre and programming
• Good communication and time management skills
• NZ residency or a valid NZ work permit.
