Technology teacher, DVC for 2022

Thank you for your interest in this full-time, fixed-term 2022 position of technology teacher, with strengths in design and visual communication (DVC) preferred. The position is for the 2022 school year so begins as soon as can be arranged.

The position is fixed-term as technology at our school is going through major changes in 2022. Firstly, we return to our main Aldwins Rd site and a brand new school. Secondly, at present we operate an off-site Y7–8 Technology Centre for 24 client schools which caters for 1400+ Y7–8s weekly. Term 3 next year this provision comes onto our main site as part of the completed school rebuild. It is not be a separate stand-alone Technology Centre but has been purpose-built to complement the parallel LCŌ-Te Aratai College Y7–13 technology, and the wider LCŌ-Te Aratai College curriculum – eg the links with science and the creative arts.
