So what are our pre-schoolers here at Lollipops Paraparaumu, looking for in a teacher?  They told us that they want:

"Someone to be our friend, who will share our toys with us; someone who will dance crazy with us and will like looking after the garden.  Someone who will play hide and seek with me and get me a cold cloth if I hurt myself.  Someone who is kind and happy; someone who will run and play outside with us."

We have an awesome team and our stunning location within Paraparaumu has plenty to offer everyone! Our team is professional, respectful, fun and welcoming. We strive to create best outcomes for children, while supporting and tapping into the support of our whanau and community. We would love some fresh ideas to complement our extensive knowledge base. Due to rapid growth in enrolments, we are requiring two new teachers! One in our nursery and the other with our 2–4 year olds...

To be successful in this role, you will have: 

• An NZ recognised ECE teacher qualification and be ECE certified in New Zealand
• Ability to teach children in a positive, nurturing way
• Must be passionate, caring, and committed to education
• Knowledge of ECE regulations, policies and procedures.
