The Forte unit of itinerant teachers of music (based at Hagley College) provide students with high quality music tuition within participating schools across the Canterbury region.
We seek a qualified, highly effective and inspiring brass teacher.
Applicants must have:
The successful applicant needs to have current NZ teacher registration (preferred) or a limited authority to teach (LAT).
Meets the Covid-19 Public Health Response (Vaccinations) Order 2021 requirements for working in schools.
This role requires travel between different schools. A mileage allowance will be paid for travel incurred.
All itinerant music teachers regularly engage in collaborative team meetings for professional development including a current focus on Tikanga and te reo Māori.
