This is a great opportunity for a current or aspiring leader to join our Carlton whānau. We are a progressive school situated in the heart of Whanganui. The position is 0.6 classroom teacher and 0.4 management release. We're looking for an innovative and forward-thinking teacher who challenges themselves, and is able to provide an innovative, culturally responsive learning environment that encourages and supports diverse learners. You’ll be willing to share or extend your knowledge and understanding of te Ao Māori. Teamwork and collegiality will go hand in hand with an engaging and positive outlook. Management responsibilities, and classroom year level can be discussed.
This role is covered by the COVID-19 Public Health Response (Vaccinations) Order 2021, so applicants must either be vaccinated or have a medical exemption.
We are excited about this appointment and the impact our new DP will have in helping us take our school to the next level. Our kaiako and tamariki are looking forward to collaborating with an outgoing and engaging leader.
