Requirements

• Degree in mathematics or a mathematics-related subject
• Excel at teaching statistics and calculus
• Familiarity with technology
• An enthusiasm for learning and high expectations of students
• Willing to lift barriers to diversity and inclusiveness
• Integrity, courage, resilience, respect, generosity
• NZ registered.

Desirable

• Be familiar with or have experience in the International Baccalaureate (IB) Programmes
• Experience in NCEA and the NZC.

Interesting fact: the head of learning area (mathematics) is an avid rower who eagerly heads up the QMC rowing programme. Our students are not the only ones who get to follow their passions.
