We are looking for a culturally responsive, reflective and collaborative kaiako to join our kura in 2022.
A MITA allowance may be available for someone with the right level of te reo.
We are looking for someone who will:
work collegially across the school with all staff and demonstrate our KORAU values through words and actions.
have knowledge and experience in te reo Māori me ōna tikanga and be willing to continue learning. We will provide support in this area.
develop successful learning programmes tailored to meet the needs of all learners.
be willing to take on extra responsibilities across the school as required
be willing to become part of the Koraunui School whanau
Our school has a diverse ethnic makeup including 43% of our students identifying as Māori and 20% identifying as Pasifika. Experience, knowledge and understanding of working with diverse ethnic groups is a requirement for our staff.
Our staff enjoy working together and providing stimulating and engaging learning experiences for the tamariki. This includes a strong focus on science and the environment.

The class year level for 2022 will be Y2–3.
