We are a fast growing Y1–8 full primary school with a roll of 400 students. The student community is approximately 54% NZ European, 40% Māori, and 6% other ethnicities.
The school offers a predominantly English medium learning programme but at the same time focuses on Tikanga Māori, including te reo Māori (Māori language), waiata (Māori songs), kapa haka (Māori performing arts), and other cultural activities.
We pride ourselves on our rich, diverse curriculum, but are also determined that our students make significant progress in reading, writing and math.
We are seeking a dynamic, innovative teacher who will build positive relationships with learners, parents and staff and who has a sound curriculum knowledge and skill. Our teachers demonstrate knowledge of all the professional standards for teachers.
