An exciting opportunity has arisen at Awatapu College to be part of a multidisciplinary team, committed to providing quality educational and therapy outcomes for our ORS funded students.
This position is for 3 days per week (0.6 FTE)
We are looking for a qualified occupational therapist who has an interest in working with learners with complex physical, sensory and behavioural needs. The successful applicant would be part of a team that is focused on working alongside students, teaching teams and whānau to enable students to develop effective academic, functional and life skills.
We provide education for students aged 12–21 years with intellectual and associated challenges, based on site at Awatapu College, as well as in community and workplace settings.
Registration with the NZ Occupational Therapy Board, a current practicing certificate and full drivers licence is essential. Kaiārahi I te reo, Therapists, ATSSD and Special Education Assistants Collective Agreement applies to this position and salary is commensurate with qualification and experience.
