Based in Hastings
Are you excited about the future of learning?
Do you want to work with the latest technology?
Keen to be part of a collaborative and innovative culture?
We are New Zealand's largest school and provide personalised and authentic learning programmes from early childhood to NCEA Level 3, including young adult and adult learners.
We are looking for a creative, innovative kaiako (teacher) who's a subject expert in English to join our team in the Hastings region in 2022.
It's an exciting time as we continue to innovate and transform the way we provide distance learning. In our online environment, we work with the latest technologies and are constantly growing in this space.
We're forward-thinking and do things a little differently, but that doesn't mean no student contact! You'll interact with students at advisories, communicate with them using online tools and guide a group of students as their learning advisor. We are committed to seeing you grow with us and development opportunities often crop up within the school.
Interested in authentic learning, you model current pedagogy and are always coming up with new ideas. You're enthusiastic, collaborative, understand the key competencies of the New Zealand Curriculum assessment practice and are committed to improving education outcomes for students.
