Would you like a real change of lifestyle? Would you enjoy spending the entire day in the outdoors, exploring and learning in the bush and the beach with a small group of tamariki 3–6 years? We are currently taking enquiries and applications for part-time kaiako at our Long Bay Nature Kindergarten programme.

Play and Learn have been operating outdoor/nature ECE programmes for over 25 years and have numerous systems, policies, procedures and training through our committed, trained, experienced team. We operate with a 1:5 ratio. Our management team is also very supportive and encourages all kaiako to grow, both personally and professionally.

This maybe a position you are looking for if appreciate working collaboratively with tamariki and enjoy:

• Making connections with nature, place, and everything outdoors
• Being outdoors experiencing all types of weathers and seasons
• A love of play, exploration, freedom and discovery with tamariki
• Being energetic and physically active
• Being proactive and taking initiative throughout in your  work
• Working as part of a small, collaborative  and close-knit team.
