Are you looking to work in a small, family owned and operated centre?

We are looking for an experienced head teacher to join our preschool team.

• A qualified, registered, and experienced preschool head teacher
• Values and understands the importance of play-based learning and relationships with teachers, parents, whānau and tamariki
• Passionate about environments with an understanding of Reggio Emilia
• Shares our philosophy and embraces our unique arts approach
• Understands the process of internal evaluation as at Creative Cubs we strive for on-going growth and learning
• Values and understands Te Tirity O Waitangi and weaves this into practice
• Has great initiative and proven leadership skills
• Very supportive of others and a great role model.

Our preschool space offers an exciting environment inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach where our tamariki explore and discover as individuals through our arts approach. We have a ratio of 1;8 and we love music, art, creativity, and having fun everyday!

We believe in having key teachers that follow the interests, rituals and routines of our tamariki, and document their learning goals and achievements alongside whanau.

The is a permanent full-time position of 37 hours a week.
