Learning support coordinator

The purpose of the LSC is to support our children with diverse learning needs to have access to the support and services they need, in ways that recognise their identity, language and culture. You will be working across a range of schools within our Kahui Ako, from Matata, Kawerau through to Murupara. The successful applicant will be based at Kawerau Pūtauaki School. 

The successful applicant will work closely with the other LSC and a wide variety of stakeholders: staff, students, whānau, and external agencies. They will need to be passionate about inclusive practices and have demonstrated the ability to support the learning and progress of all learners as they transition in, through, and out of our schools.

You will need to meet all the criteria of the LSC role description but ideally, have expertise in some of the following areas: Special education, and curriculum Level 1.
