Do you want to work in our  family-oriented centre ? 
 
Be part of a small intimate team of dedicated teachers, where you will help shape and inspire a developing philosophy and learning community. This flexible work schedule will consist of 20–22 hours of work per week from Monday to Friday. 
 
Our centre is developed around a home-away-from-home philosophy, and is based around building strong relationships with staff, tamariki and their whānau, with a teacher to child very low ratios (1:3.5) 
 
To be a successful candidate, you must: 

  • Have had some previous work experience looking after children U2
  • Have excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Be caring and love working with children 
  • Be comfortable working in a small team 
  • Be independent and able to self-manage
  • Be hardworking, flexible and reliable 
  • Be willing to learn 
  • Be committed to ongoing professional development
  • Be willing to always go the extra mile
  • Have a good sense of humour.

Ability to play a musical instrument would be an added qualification.
