We are looking for a part-time job share candidate for term 1, 2022 with a possibility to extend. We envisage the role being 2 days a week with some possible additional days from time to time. This is for a Y6–7 class.

We are a U4 full primary school, decile 2, situated alongside the magnificent 90 Mile Beach, just 14km Southwest from Kaitaia.

The successful applicant will need to be child-focused, passionate about teaching and learning. You must see yourself as a learner, be collaborative in your approach and ready for an exciting opportunity.

You will also have a strong literacy and numeracy base using formative assessment and digital technology with a sound understanding of NZC.

A sense of humour is essential! We work in an ever changing environment so flexibility is also important, alongside a willingness to add value to our already vibrant learning community and successful school.

Applicants must be supportive of Tikanga Māori programmes.
