Kaiako

An exciting opportunity has become available at our Christian community-based centre. Our centre is thirty years old with a recently new vision set to inspire and create a home-like environment.

We invite qualified registered kaiako to apply who are highly motivated, innovative, and passionate about early childhood education and who have a dedication to providing high quality care and education. You will need to have a sound understanding of Te Whāriki, be enthusiastic, organised and work well in team. The position is working with children aged 2–5 years and is 3 days a week.

You will be joining a team of professional, respectful, and inspiring kaiako who like to have fun, are passionate about teaching and value the importance of building relationships with tamariki, families/whānau and our local community. We provide a supportive working environment with a Trust who values the team. Our philosophy recognises the importance of our Christian faith and values creativity, curiosity, and exploration of the world around us. We wonder, question, and embrace learning throughout life to support tamariki to ‘learn how to learn.’

Our centre is part of the pay parity scheme.
