Step Ahead is under new ownership and we are looking for 2 full-time permanent teachers from 8am–4.30pm Monday to Friday.
Step Ahead caters for 30 children aged 2 years and over. It operates between the hours of 8am–4.30pm, Monday–Friday at 13 Grant Street, Kamo, Whangarei.
Profile:
The successful applicant will have the following skills, attributes, experience and qualifications:
- Degree, Diploma or certified equivalency in early childhood education
- Right to work in New Zealand and currently based in New Zealand
- Full or provisional teacher registration
- Current first aid certificate
- Experience in working with the O2s
- Sense of humour, professional and pleasant manner
- Able to produce professional written work
- Experienced in using ICT to support children and the centres functions
- Personally well presented and groomed
- Have a genuine respect for children and a belief in their capabilities
- Honest, caring and a good communicator.
Responsible to: Manager
Relationships with: Children, whānau, colleagues, relievers, cleaners.
