Kingslea School is based at Te Maioha O Parekarangi Youth Justice Residential facility in Rotorua, and provides education for tamariki aged between 14 and 17 in Oranga Tamariki care. This is an extremely rewarding environment with the ability to develop and adapt your teaching passions and skills. 

We are looking for a positive, caring teacher with strengths in literacy and or numeracy  up to at least NZ Curriculum Level 4. Knowledge of tikanga and te reo is an advantage.

This position requires someone with excellent communication and inter-personal skills. This must be accompanied by a passion for making a difference with young people who have diverse needs.
