Early childhood teacher (2 positions)

At Lightbulb Learning Centre we have created a homely atmosphere with a team culture which reflects solid professional relationships, a sense of humour, and a passion with a belief that children and their families are priority, and their education and care is paramount. 

We are licensed for 100 tamariki with strong ties with our families and whānau. At Lightbulb Learning we have a large outdoor area with facilities where all of our age groups of children have the opportunity to interact daily as well as play separately. With 5 separate rooms for our tamariki and kaiako we are able to create secure and safe environments to support quality learning opportunities. 

Due to relocation, we are looking for 2 superstar kaiako to join our fantastic team.  

One position is in our infant room and one position in our preschool room.

Candidates must have:

• A recognised ECE Diploma or Degree, as well as provisional/full registration or final year of ECE training
• The ability to work well in a team and with a wide range of people
• The ability to identify children's unique strengths and interests
• Sound knowledge of ECE legislation, standards, policies and procedures that impact on the centre and programming
• Good communication and time management skills
• Experience working with infants is a must.
