Deputy principal

Deputy principal, permanent full-time, 2MU; starting term 2 2022.

Decile 6, U3. This position requires an innovative and enthusiastic teacher to join our dedicated team of teachers in 2022. It also requires someone who is keen to develop their management skills and work with staff on our concept based local curriculum, student agency and structured literacy approaches to learning. Must be IT literate. Strengths in Māori and music an added advantage. The ability to work collaboratively with others to form strong positive relationships with students, colleagues and whānau is essential.

The person will teach a Y5–6  composite class, oversee the Y4–6 team and fulfil the deputy principal role.
