Education programme leader Manaiakalani

Are you an experienced, credible educator with a sound understanding of effective teaching and learning practice and enabling digital technologies?

We are seeking an expert teaching practitioner with a good working knowledge of raising achievement by linking evidence to practice.

This is an exciting opportunity to be a Manaiakalani Education Programme Leader supporting schools, teachers, and learners in Gisborne as they move to digital learning environments.

The successful applicant will join a highly collaborative team and be supported to develop good working relationships with education researchers, ed-tech providers, principals and staff.

Facilitation will be in the context of the New Zealand Curriculum and include implementation of the Manaiakalani Programme including the Learn Create Share pedagogy and visible teaching and learning. Manaiakalani’s PLD programme will provide a positive and supportive environment.  Some travel may be required. 

Remuneration will consider skills and experience. The appointment will be for a fixed-term to December 2023.
