We are looking for an innovative, experienced, and professionally trained guidance counsellor to join our exceptional wellbeing and pastoral care team.

A person who will contribute to a multi-agency support team of counsellors, social workers, health professionals, mentors and community liaison staff in improving outcomes for students and their families.

It is a busy role, where the pastoral/support team caters for over 1,800 students Y9–13. The candidate must be a member of NZAC or similar organization. We would be looking for a counsellor who is an experienced team player, passionate, and enthusiastic about working with young people.

You will have proven strengths and have skills in forming effective and professional relationships both within the school community and with wider community agencies.

As a member of our cohesive and caring pastoral team, you will support our students and their whänau to achieve personal excellence.

This is a full-time permanent position starting term 1, 2022 meaning the successful applicant must be fully vaccinated against covid-19.
