We have an exciting opportunity for a kaiako to join our team in Tokoroa.
This is a full-time, permanent position working 40 hours per week.
At Central Kids Tokoroa we offer tamariki the opportunity to lead their own learning, through respectful, responsive, and consultative relationships between tamariki, whānau, kaiako and the wider supportive community.
We have a large outdoor area that includes a large garden area which enable us to nurture through nature.

A motivated, enthusiastic teacher, who is able to put current theory into practice
A passion for working within a mixed-age centre, with both U2 and O2 aged tamariki
Able to demonstrate a working knowledge of Te Whāriki

Able to work within a team who have a strong commitment to supporting the social and emotional growth of tamariki
Able to demonstrate a growth mindset, be open and willing to change that enables us to continue providing high-quality early education to all tamariki who attend our services
ECE qualified and hold current certification and a current first aid certificate.
