RTeach Institute, an MOE accredited  PLD provider, is seeking an experienced teacher and facilitator to join its growing team in the Bay of Plenty region. 

This position will be 0.6 with the potential to expand into a full-time position. 

This is a varied role which includes working directly with teachers, students and school leaders implementing Reciprocal Teaching - RT3T™ within schools. See RT3T™ – modernised reciprocal teaching  

The successful candidate will be passionate about literacy across the curriculum, collaborative learning and inclusion. An ability to work culturally responsively as part of a team and in partnership with other professionals, is essential. We are looking for someone who has effective communication skills including in leadership roles and high levels of digital literacy.

Ideally they will have knowledge and experience in: 

  • Te reo Māori
  • Adult coaching and learning
  • Assessment for learning
  • Local curriculum 
  • Home-school partnerships
  • The delivery of whole school initiatives. 

This position will incorporate a comprehensive induction including training in RT3T, shadowing and co-facilitating. 

Applicants must be fully registered teachers prepared to travel within the BOP area and able to meet the Covid vaccination requirements. Drivers licence and own car required. Start date negotiable.
