Applications are invited for the position of Principal of Ormiston Senior College.
The college, which opened in 2011 and enjoys excellent flexible teaching and learning facilities, is adjacent to the campuses of Ormiston Junior School and Ormiston Primary. Catering for students in Y11–13, the college is future-focused, places a strong emphasis on personalising learning and utilises a Learning Advisor structure to provide individual mentoring. A robust collegial and transparent culture underpins the ethos of the school.
Situated in Flat Bush, one of Auckland's fastest growing and most diverse communities, the 2022 Ormiston Senior College roll will be just under 1,000 students. This is set to grow rapidly and major extensions have Ministry approval. The school received a very positive ERO report in 2018 placing it on a 4-5 year review cycle.
