Cambridge High School (CHS) is a co-educational school, established in 1883, with a roll of approximately 1,750 students. Cambridge is in the heart of the Waikato region and has recently become a focus for elite sport with cycling, triathlon, kayaking and rowing establishing their New Zealand bases here.  Cambridge High School serves the interests of the community incredibly well, meeting the varied academic, trades, cultural and sporting needs of our students. Places at CHS are highly sought after with families choosing to move into town to gain access to the school.

An opportunity exists to join our science faculty. The faculty is very collegial, collaborative and supportive. The ideal candidate will be open to engaging in learning, reflective about their practice and take a student centred approach. Our faculty is beginning our journey with the new NCEA standards and so an understanding of these changes will provide an advantage.

Due to the importance of developing our team we may have some flexibility in our timetable in order to accommodate the perfect candidate, but we are ideally looking for someone with Chemistry experience.
