Otago Primary Principals’ Association (OPPA)/ Ministry of Education Otago (MOE)

Kaitautoko tumuaki principal support person

Looking for something a little different? Want a meaningful way to add value to our network of Otago Tumuaki?

The Otago Primary Principals’ Association in collaboration with the Ministry of Education Dunedin Regional Office is seeking a kaitautoko tumuaki for 2022. The role will be a part-time (0.4FTTE), fixed-term position for 2022. It will be designed to allow a current principal to be able to fulfil the role while maintaining their own position, or for a recently retired principal with up to date knowledge.

The role will focus on supporting the well-being of principals in Otago through networking, guidance and support, and will involve working directly with the Ministry of Education and the OPPA to best support our colleagues.

A full job description is available upon request.

We are excited to welcome an approachable, knowledgeable and supportive principal into this innovative new initiative.
