We have a fantastic opportunity for a registered ECE teacher, primary teacher or 3rd year student to join our established team.
Due to an increased roll and maternity leave we are looking for a highly motivated individual, who is passionate about early childhood care using the respectful philosophy of Montessori.
Since 2014 we have been providing Geraldine and its surrounding areas with a genuine, authentic Montessori experience. This has been offered to our younger whanau now, with the addition of our nursery centre il Nido opening last year.
Depending on experience, we have an opportunity for a kaiako to join our 0-3 year old setting or our 3-6 year setting.
Our schools are warm and nurturing environments which foster fun and independent learning in a richly resourced ‘home from home’ setting.
The role is for 30 hours per week (this is a full-time position within our centres). Our session times are Monday to Friday 8.30am–2.30pm.
New team members will enjoy:
a fully supported registration process.
access to internal and external professional development opportunities.
a robust and supportive Professional Growth Cycle which is maintained throughout the year.
a competitive salary with additional leave benefits.
A (lovely) provided staff uniform.
And the opportunity to work with our collaborative and happy team J
Our ideal teacher will be:
Passionate regarding the development of their own practice.
Able to develop respectful, positive, and meaningful relationships with others.
A good knowledge or keen interest in Montessori curriculums.
A sense of humour, love of animals and dressing up is essential!
