Ferndale School is a specialist education facility catering for ORS funded students from 5 to 21 years. We are looking for a part-time educational psychologist to join our dynamic multidisciplinary therapy team who are committed to providing an outstanding specialist service to our ORS-funded students. This position is for 3 days per week (0.6 FTTE).

We seek an educational psychologist who is collaborative, knowledgeable about a range of diagnoses, intellectual disability and evidence based emotional and behavioural interventions. The successful applicant would be part of a team that is focused on working alongside students, teaching teams and whānau to enable students to develop effective co- regulation and/or self regulation and successfully access learning programs.

Ferndale School is committed to providing opportunities for therapists including; professional learning and development, supervision and flexible working hours. 

The applicant is required to be a registered psychologist and must meet the mandatory vaccination requirements for COVID under the Public Health Order. Ideally applicants will have had some experience working with a range of learning and behavioural needs. 

Applicants must have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
