Are you passionate about whanaungatanga and hauora? The Opuke Kāhui Ako is looking for a passionate educator from either the primary or secondary sector to lead our focus around whanaungatanga and hauora. The right candidate will have recent experience in developing relationships with stakeholders and proven ability to communicate effectively in a wide variety of contexts. This person will lead and drive teacher professional learning across our nine schools and ECEs to raise our students' sense of wellbeing throughout the Kāhui. 

To be considered for this position applications must: 

  • Have current employment as a kaiako/teacher within the Opuke Kāhui Ako
  • A current practicing certificate
  • Recent educational leadership experience relevant to the role
  • Met professional standards relevant to their current position

This position is a fixed-term starting 27th January 2022 for two years. The position comes with a 0.4 release component.
