If you are looking for an exciting new role, we could have the opportunity for you!

We are seeking that special someone who can engage and teach music. The lucky candidate will benefit from working in our new music space (due for completion end term 1, 2022).

We are an innovative rural (Y7–13) secondary school with a commitment to inclusive practice and differentiated planning. You will be joining a team of strong practitioners in PB4L, restorative practice and culturally responsive pedagogy. Our college is following an exciting new ‘choice’ pathway for Y9–10 students, with semesterisation as a key component.

If you are a motivated teacher, with innovative ideas and the ability to build strong teaching/learning relationships with students, then we would be very interested in receiving your application.

We are a small, collegial secondary school, situated in South Canterbury – this means friendly staff and students, and weekend access to the beautiful lakes and mountains of the Mackenzie Country. Being just 20 minutes north of Timaru leaves you the choice of rural or urban living. There may be school housing available.

Applicants must be New Zealand certificated and hold Education Council registration. This role is covered by the COVID-19 Public Health Response (Vaccinations) Order 2021, so applicants must either be vaccinated or have a medical exemption.

If this sounds like your next career step we look forward to hearing from you.
