We require a NZ registered teacher of food technology. The college runs a Y7-13 programme, with students from all year levels participating in food technology.

The successful applicant will be a good communicator. You will have an interest and skill in cross-curricular, culturally responsive and inquiry-based learning. If you are interested in joining a collegial staff with a strong focus on the development of great teachers and students, this could be the job for you.

The ability to teach up to Level 3 NCEA and a broad knowledge of both Achievement standards and Vocational Unit standards will be essential. You will need to support our students to understand the many facets of the food technology and hospitality industries, and be able to manage a budget.

We are situated in a semirural community in the North Waikato and within easy commute of Auckland and Hamilton.
