We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and experienced music teacher to lead our very successful department. You will be an effective and collaborative communicator who will work with other staff members to provide an engaging and responsive curriculum throughout the school. Leadership of the itinerant music teachers in leading musical ensembles will be a further and important aspect of the role.

Our music department has a busy annual diary of festivals, competitions and concerts - the successful applicant will have a proven track record of running a variety of music ensembles to a high standard competing at a national level. 

Pukekohe High is a growing school on the southern fringes of Auckland, with a diverse student community. The school's recently adopted vision, 'learning without limits', sets an aspirational goal for our kura. 

Applicants must be NZ registered teachers with a detailed understanding of the New Zealand Curriculum. There are 2MU + 1MMA for the right candidate.

This position commences term 1, 2022, meaning we are only able to appoint teachers who are fully vaccinated against Covid 19.
