Qualified ECE teacher
Birthright Hawkes Bay Child and Family Care Trust run a range of social services and early childhood education across Hawkes Bay.
We are seeking a qualified and registered ECE teacher to join our over 2's team at Swinburn House in Napier.
You will work alongside the Senior Teacher and other qualified teachers sharing responsibility for providing high quality early childhood education to children enrolled at Swinburn House.
The successful applicant will need to have the following skills, training and personal attributes:
Be a vibrant, enthusiastic team player who is reliable, flexible and hard working.
Be degree or diploma qualified in Early Childhood Education and be registered with the NZ Teachers Council. New graduates and provisionally registered teachers are welcome to apply.
An ability to work within the Ministry of Education early childhood regulations.
Have experience working within a team to create plans and assess children’s learning and development using Te Whāriki.
Have a proven ability to communicate well with others and able to build strong relationships with children and families. Be a lifelong learner, committed to your teacher registration and ongoing professional development.
