We are looking for an exceptional project co-ordinator to join our exciting Assessment and Moderation business unit at New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA). Assessment & Moderation is responsible for the quality assurance of school-based assessment for internally assessed standards.  Our moderators and other staff play a vital role in overseeing and supporting assessors in both schools and tertiary organisations throughout New Zealand.

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • assisting with the planning and management of processes involved with two major work programmes in the business unit, the Review of Achievement Standards (RAS) programme of work and the Recalibration of Quality Assurance programme
  • project co-ordination, monitoring, administration and reporting progress as part of the programme implementation
  • meeting/event logistics; and
  • having input into process improvement opportunities.

Skills and experience

We would like to hear from you if you have demonstrated experience in all aspects of project administration and support – from your methodical organisational skills to your professional presentation of documents and your strong relationship and communications skills.
