We are looking for a passionate, caring teacher who is committed to working towards our school vision. This position is part-time, and hours are negotiable (1–3 full days or 5 part days). We would love to welcome a teacher who can work with any age from Y1–8, and is willing to learn alongside others in our caring school community.
This is a ‘special project’ that is funded by the Board of Trustees so that teachers can be released to lead various projects planned for 2022. At this stage the position may only be for term 1, but may be extended beyond this date. The length of this special project is contingent upon the continuation of the projects that are planned.
The successful applicant will keep our tamariki at the centre and value building strong relationships with other staff, our learners and our whānau.
Forward-thinking, collaborative, patient, innovative, and reflective educators, with strong pedagogical knowledge of assessment for learning and highly effective classroom practices are invited to apply.
The successful applicant will be expected to fully engage in the daily life at the school, and support the ethos and the special character of our school. They would also be expected to particpate in school professional learning to enhance their own professional growth.
