WSCW’s unique and highly effective learning centre’s prime focus is to provide support for students across the school. Our learning centre is looking for 2 full-time (part-time would be considered) registered teachers to support individual and/or small groups of students on a referral basis mainly in numeracy, literacy and science subjects. The candidate will need to work independently to be able to establish relationships with various departments to cater for student needs across year and ability levels. The capability to build relationships quickly with students from diverse backgrounds and a track record of facilitating successful outcomes for tauira Māori and Pasifika would be highly desirable. Due to the numeracy and literacy component of this role, this position may suit a primary trained candidate.
