Pukekohe High School is looking for a positive and dynamic member to teach in our Learning Support department. The successful applicant will be supported by learning support coordinators and our SENCO to plan collaboratively and teach students with individual learning needs working within levels 1-3 of the New Zealand Curriculum.

The successful applicant will be the junior class Whānau Rōpū (home room) teacher and should be comfortable teaching maths, English, science and social studies. There may be some hours working in the senior Learning Support class as well. Knowledge and understanding of neurodiverse students, differentiated learning and universal design for learning would be of an advantage. This position is suitable for an experienced primary trained teacher or a secondary trained teacher with good cross-curricular knowledge.
