We are looking for a practitioner who is reflective, inquires into their effective teaching practice and has the ability to lead a team of teachers, someone with outstanding people skills and the ability to form strong relationships with parents and the community.
The following attributes and skills are highly desirable:
Ability to work effectively as a member of the senior leadership team
Ability to lead change and support the principal in relation to the school’s strategic direction
Experience and success in implementing PB4L and restorative practices
Highly efficient communication, organisation skills, and to be a team player
Deep knowledge of pedagogy and the NZ Curriculum, with extensive knowledge of inquiry
To be an advocate for students in the area of pastoral care
Strong understanding of assessment practices and the ability to support growth in this area.
The start date would be from the beginning of the 2022 school year.
