We are fortunate to have approval to offer a 2 year contract for an applicant with skills in te reo Māori to train as a teacher while employed as a kaiako in our kura.

The trainee will be working under the Rautahi Pathway of the Teach First NZ programme. This is a ful- time position.

We seek a colleague who is passionate about teaching te reo to young people and in upskilling to be a fully qualified teacher while working in our school over the 2 year term of the contract.

Reduced class contact time and mentoring support form part of this programme.

The successful applicant will be required to meet the Covid-19 Public Health Orders as they apply to the education sector.
