We are seeking applications to work in a brand-new centre, under our Star Early Learning umbrella and also in our existing under three centre. Due to the demand of our families, we have created a new build, over twos centre and are finally ready for a passionate, dedicated, and qualified team to help bring our vision to life.

We have both full and part time permanent positions available for experienced or new graduate ECE teachers. If successful, applicants will need to be flexible to work within the rostered hours, consisting of Monday to Friday, between 7.30am and 5.30pm. 

Our ideal applicants will have a commitment to providing the highest standard of quality care and learning experiences and include the following attributes:

  •  A fun and easy-going personality and practice which is in line with our respectful philosophy
  • Knowledge around a RIE/Pikler philosophy
  • Experience with primary caregiving
  • Be qualified in Early Childhood Education and have a current practising certificate
  • Sees the importance of self-growth through professional learning and reflection
  • Have a strong understanding of our bicultural curriculum and be able to implement Māori dispositions, tikanga and learning outcomes for all children
  • Demonstrate excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Foster and maintain strong communication-based relationships with children, whānau, and colleagues
  • Be vaccinated against COVID in line with any legal requirements.

Applicants for this position must have New Zealand residency or a valid New Zealand working visa.
