We are a single sex school serving the eastern suburbs of Christchurch. We provide learning inside and outside the classroom that enriches boys and prepares them for their world. Our staff provide high quality education with a focus on strong and positive relationships.

We are seeking a motivated guidance counsellor to join our growing guidance and pastoral network. This is a 0.8 permanent position that commences at the beginning of term 1, 2022, and there is potential for the hours of work to be negotiated. The successful applicant will be an NZAC registered counsellor, preferably with teacher registration and experience working in schools or with adolescents, have a passion for developing young men, be able to maintain networks with external agencies, and a commitment to the wider life of the school.

We are open to receiving applications from non-teachers as well as teachers.

NB: This role is covered by the COVID-19 Public Health Response (Vaccinations) Order 2021, so applicants must either be vaccinated or have a medical exemption as they apply to the education sector.
