We are looking for an enthusiastic history and social sciences teacher to join our dynamic staff to teach the curriculum from Y7–11 on a fixed-term basis from 31 January 2022 to 16 December 2022.

The successful applicant will be a teacher who is focussed on positive relationships, high achievement and student engagement.

Our school has approximately 200 students and is situated beside the Aparima River and the North Beach in Riverton.  We have many recreational opportunities at our doorstep: the Te Araroa Trail, river and sea fishing, Gemstone Beach, the Te Hikoi museum etc.  We are in driving distance to ski fields and lakes. Invercargill CBD is 30 minutes away so we have the advantage of living in a small community, with quick access to larger facilities.
