Garin College is a Catholic integrated co-educational Y9 to 13 college recognised for its provision of education with excellence. Opened in 2002 Garin College is a 21st Century College with exciting and innovative practices that promote outstanding student leadership and engagement in an integrated BYOD learning environment. Garin College is situated in the beautiful Nelson/Tasman region. 

We seek an innovative and enthusiastic teacher of visual arts to join our experienced and collaborative Arts faculty. The ability to teach visual arts at junior and senior NCEA Levels is essential. Please state other supporting subjects. Depending on the applicants’ strengths and supporting subjects, there may be further hours available. The successful applicant will be expected to uphold the spiritual Catholic character of the college and to play an active role in co-curricular activities. 

The successful applicant will be a NZ registered teacher and have a good understanding of the NZ Curriculum and NCEA.
