To be considered you need to:

  • Have a philosophy that fits with our team and kindergarten
  • Have a current practicing certificate (full or provisional)
  • Have a Dip Tch in early childhood education (minimum)
  • Have a current first aid certificate
  • Be current with regard to early childhood education theory and practice
  • Be confident in using technology and be able to competently use Microsoft Suite and Story Park
  • Have a proven working knowledge of government legislation and regulations
  • Have teaching practices that reflect tātaiako and tapasā cultural competencies.

A strong Pasifika and mātauranga Māori knowledge base would be an advantage. 

This position could be suitable for a beginning or early career teacher.
